What is CSA?
Community Support Agriculture (CSA) is program based in the relationship between the farmer and the customer, where the customer pays a lump sum in the off-season for a share of the vegetables throughout the growing season June-October. The share is delivered or picked up by the customer weekly. The upfront investment helps the farmer with early season expenses that grow the vegetables. In return, the customer receives discounted produce, newsletters, recipes, and connection with the farmers that grow their food.
