Meet the Farm.
Landsmith Farm on unceded Wabanaki territory of Waldoboro, Maine, organically grows a wide variety of high-quality, tasty vegetables, herbs, willow, and cut flowers using practices that prioritize the health of the land and the people who grow it. The farm is owned and operated by Erin Espinosa, whose identities as a queer Latina farmer ground the farm in values of reciprocity, community, and perseverance.
Our products are sold wholesale and direct-to-consumer through a variety of channels, including a farm stand, commons, and a future CSA (community supported agriculture) program.
Who We Are
-
Our food is safe, nutritious, and grown by folks with strong ethics. We use organic agricultural practices rooted in indigenous knowledge that centers ecosystem health and reciprocity. We grow food as efficiently and productively as we can while reinvesting time and resources into the land and ecosytem. We engage in tractor based low-till farming practices that minimize disturbance of the soil to preserve the microbial life within the soil that make for the tastiest, most nutritious food.
